TENNISTATION
TenniStation was founded by WASHIM RAJA, an ITF Level II coach, ATP certified GPTCA Level B coach and National Level Tennis Player himself, in 2018, with the vision of providing best quality tennis coaching across the country.
Washim Raja hails from Assam, a winner at the 7th Spirit Sport Meet in Assam, has the experience of playing various state and National level tournaments. He is the first coach from Assam to have cleared GPTCA Level B examination Certified by ATP. Amongst this, Washim indulged in a short project of 10 months with Zeeshan Ali Tennis Academy (ZATA) in Bangalore as their Head Pro working directly with ZATA’s Director , Mr. Zeeshan Ali who is the current coach of Indian Tennis Team and Captain of the Indian Olympic Tennis Team.
The mission of TenniStation is to develop Indian tennis players of international calibre, also coaching players from grassroots level to ITF professionals. At TenniStation, we are fundamentals/technique focussed and believe this enables players to reach their tennis dreams. Our team has the expertise and acumen in designing programs tailored to the player and the training facility. We have programs tailored to players at various levels viz., tournament players, advanced players, beginners, kids and custom sessions as necessary. Our coaches are also trained and certified in AITA and ITF tennis fraternity.
Meet The Team
Washim Raja
Founder & CEO
Washim Raja, a national level tennis player, represented the state of Assam in various national level tennis tournaments, winning many titles.
A certified ITF Level II coach, ATP certified GPTCA Level B coach, AITA Level IV Fitness coach, Washim also studied sports and performance psychology.
Washim has also successfully completed the Asian Coaches Workshop by ITF in Guangzhou, China, 2016 and the National Coaches Workshop by AITA in 2011, 2012 & 2013 alongside the 21st WW coaches Conference by BNP Paribas at Bangkok, Thailand in 2019.
Washim has also coached the Guwahati IIT Tennis team, catapulting them to the semi-finals of the IIT tennis championship in the very first year of coaching.
Washim has coached Reshma and Suhitha Maruri to emerge #1 ranked player in All India in the U14 and U16 girls category.
Aquib Raja
HOD Sports and Fitness
Coach Aquib having played cricket for the state of Assam and with his hard work and dedication he was selected and played for All India T20 juniors Championship.
On Board with TenniStation he will be the go to person for fitness and development for all players.
Grabriel Borah
Head Pro
Coach Grabriel is a fun, fit and a pro Tennis Coach.
He has played professional football in Goa and Kolkata and has the distinction of representing Assam state in the prestigious Subroto Cup football tournament and Santosh Trophy (Senior National) before turning into a professional tennis coach (ITF Level 1).

Anisha Nazim
Intermediate Coach
Anisha Nazim, a dedicated tennis enthusiast from West Bengal, has an impressive background as a state-level tennis player. She engages with both beginner and intermediate level players, imparting her knowledge and expertise. With over 2 years of coaching experience under her belt, Anisha is not only a skilled player but also a mentor who is very passionate about helping young athletes reach their full potential. Anisha's ability to connect with kids is truly remarkable, and it's no surprise that they adore her.
Mayur Kamble
Coach
Coach Mayur has 18 years of experience in the field of tennis. He has even been part of the Level 1 Competitive coaching course that was conducted in Goa and also coached at many prestigious academies before he kick-started his journey with us.
With his experience, we hope to craft a story that will build a solid foundation for our students.
Akash Kumar
Coach
TenniStation's Coach Akash Kumar has been playing tennis since 2015 and ever since participated and stood victorious at Local and University level Tennis tournaments.
Akash presently works with kids and adult’s beginners to intermediate level players. He manages the kids and adults Tennis program of TenniStation in MSSA, Mumbai.
Dinesh Salvi

Coach Dinesh has been a part of TenniStation for last 2 years and has worked and been
trained under Mr. Washim for many years now. Currently he works as an intermediate tennis coach
at the academy in Mumbai.

Coach Eahteshyam Hussain, is a state level Tennis player from West Bengal. He is an intermediate
coach who has a coaching experience of more than 5 years.

Sumit Mallick
Head Pro
Sumit Mallick is a national-level tennis player who has represented West Bengal in various national tournaments, securing numerous titles. He is a certified ITF and AITA Coach with over 7 years of coaching experience. Sumit specializes in working with intermediate and advanced level players. Previously, he served as an assistant coach in Bengaluru for two years, where he honed his skills in player development. With a focus on technique, strategy, and personal growth, Coach Sumit will establish a strong foundation for our students and create an encouraging and dynamic environment for them to thrive and enjoy the game.
